Late 1980's: Graduated with industry awarded 'Best Folio' from Swinburne University's Bachelor of Graphic Design, Shane began learning about cooking, life, and design from Australia's design industry icon: Mimmo Cozzolino. After a spell as head designer for multi-media company Image Control, Shane set up his own design and illustration practise.
Late 1990's: Now a noted children’s illustrator and author with about 40 titles published. Exhibition of 'We The Earth' drawings held in Italy at International Rock Art Symposium. Design practise ongoing. A childhood love of photography is rekindled in 1998 after the birth of Shane's daughter.
Late 2000's: Shane pursues an acting career after studying at Lismore Conservatorium under George Whaley. Shane teaches part-time in Communication Design at Swinburne University and Swinburne Online. In his design practice Shane focused on clients in the environmental sustainability sector and the arts. Travel photography and street portraits.
Late 2010's: Acting career ongoing. 2017: accepts offer to teach design and drawing full-time at Swinburne College's, Diploma of Design. More travel and street photography. Beginning to love shooting street portraits.
Recently Shane studied an Advanced Diploma of Photography at Photography Studies College and now explores a mix of personal and professional photographic projects.
